Having played mostly by myself to level 81 now (because most people are on pro-ladder and i'm not yet) I have noticed a few things that I think would be useful, while not being unrealistic. I just thought I'd share them, if you like them I'd love to see you implement them, if not then I will still enjoy and play this realm continuously .
1) Some way of downgrading high runes (above Lem). I've found so many runes higher than what I need, but after hundreds of runs I just can't make a CTA. Chams, Surs, runes that will never have any sort of use to me at all, especially since there's no trading section.
2) Somehow (I don't know if it was an accident or not) the Dark Stalkers in pits level 1 and 2 have been changed from ilvl 88 to ilvl 74, which EXTREMELY lowers their drop rates from what they should be. They should be the ideal place to find items like CoA and griffon's eye, but now that's not even possible.
3) This might be intentional since perfect skulls are so useful in crafted recipes here, but I've noticed they are extremely hard to find. I have them highlighted and all useless items hidden so I never miss them, and on my way to level 81 I've so far only been able to make 3, one of them was with a gem shrine.
4) This one might be harder but maybe you can find a way to include Token protection into C3P0, so we don't accidentally respec. I had 2 of them I was saving for cube recipes, and both of them got used by me being careless and accidentally right clicking on them when I was trying to open the cube.
Edit: This one's more forum related, maybe put in a trading subforum? I think it'd be nice to off load this cham onto someone who could use it to make a nice jewel or something, and get something for myself in return.
A couple suggestions

Thanks for the input.
My brief answers for now are:
1) We'd been talked about that issue deeply and got the conclusion (by referinng other mod sites as well) - Rune downgrading feature may ruin the trade community.
You may think the other high runes are not useful for now, but they become extremely useful bit later on.
Now we have over 100 players in D2X2 and no one wants to downgrade high runes now.
2) This is under investigation.
3) There's no reason to make only the skulls extremely hard to find. Maybe you just feel like that because you need them a lot more than the other gems.
Here's a tip: Since gem drop rate is decreased in Hell, so you'd better hunt them in NM or Normal difficulty.
4) That's a good point and I'll try to get it done.
5) Actually that is one of the important next step for this forum to move on.
I've been testing conventional text based trade forum for Korean over 3~4 months.
And I found it's not operating actively as we thought.
I absolutely know that there are demands (like you said in #1) but no proper supplies yet.
I think it's matter of time and number of active player on line, but no one likes to wait for that to be established spontaneously.
So I'm thinking of an item shop on board now along with a formal trade subforums.
